Class 1 Cross-Border Driver — Up to $80,000/Year

Loblaw's fleet needs Class 1 drivers for runs between Canada and the USA. This role covers Inter-Canada and open board freight, hauling 53' trailers across both countries.

Pay

• Annual earnings potential up to $80,000

• Paid bi-weekly by direct deposit

• Quarterly paid safety bonus

• Paid orientation, plus paid picks and drops

What you'll haul

• Freight moves throughout the USA and Canada, including Inter-Canada and open board runs

• You'll carry out meat inspections when needed

• Return trips often involve picking up produce loads headed back to distribution centers

• No manual handling involved - no touch freight, no hand bombing or offloading

Equipment

• Newer automatic trucks from Volvo, Kenworth and Freightliner

• Trucks come with in-cab communication systems, GPS tracking and Sirius XM

• Experience with reefer units is a plus

Requirements

• At least 2 years of verifiable Class 1 experience with 53' trailers

• Legally able to enter the United States

• Comfortable using e-log and hours-of-service tools like Samsara

• Must pass a criminal background check, road test and DOT-compliant drug screening

• Must meet FMCSA rules for commercial drivers working in the US

• Required to follow Canadian and American hours-of-service rules
