About this job
Manitoulin Transport needs a Class 1 driver in Prince Albert to handle city pickup and delivery for a long-standing group of customers. You will load, unload and route freight around Prince Albert and nearby areas, working a Monday to Friday schedule with occasional flexibility and possibly one overnight trip per week.
Pay
- Base incentive pay package starts at $29.00 per hour
- Experienced, hard-working drivers with strong attendance can earn more than the base rate
- $5,000.00 sign-on bonus
Schedule and routes
- Monday to Friday, with some flexibility needed to meet customer needs
- Serving Prince Albert and the surrounding region
- Up to one night away from home per week
What you'll haul
- Freight delivered to a variety of established local customers
- Involves planning, loading and unloading trailers
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 license
- About a year of city pickup and delivery experience is a plus
- Good physical condition
- Dependable work history
- TDG, WHMIS and forklift experience
- Clean criminal record check, driver abstract and two work-related references required
