Class 1 Bed Truck Operator — Kindersley, SK, Accommodations Provided

Our company is looking for experienced bed truck operators to join their Kindersley, SK team, hauling heavy oilfield and rig-moving equipment across West-Central Saskatchewan and East-Central Alberta.

What you'll do

• Pick up cargo at customer sites as directed by dispatch, and secure it properly on the bed truck

• Drive to drop-off locations, sometimes with pilot or push truck support, and unload once there

• Position loads according to hand signals from the swamper

• Help tear down and set up drilling rigs

• Contribute to safety documentation like Job Safety Analyses and Standard Operating Procedures

• Complete Ryker's and client safety courses and take part in the safety program

• Keep timesheets and field tickets accurate and up to date

• Mentor newer drivers on bed truck operation when needed

• Take on other duties and administrative tasks as assigned

This work runs around the clock, every day of the year, in all kinds of weather, and follows the rules set out under the Traffic Safety Act and federal trucking regulations.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years running a bed truck

• At least 5 years moving heavy haul loads

• Valid H2S certificate

• First Aid certification

• Class 1 Licence

• Clean 5-year commercial driving abstract

• Good mechanical aptitude

• Experience with ELog systems, Motive preferred

• Must be able to pass a criminal record check if requested

Pay

$45.00-$55.00 per year, with compensation set based on location. Both full-time and part-time, permanent positions are available.
