Class 1/AZ Cross-Border Long-Haul Driver — $20.00-$25.00/hr

KB Transport is looking for Class 1/AZ long-haul drivers based out of Regina, SK to run regular Canada-USA routes. There are 10 openings for both single and team drivers.

Pay

• $20.00-$25.00 per hour

• Expected hours: 30.0-40.0 per week

• Exact pay depends on your experience and qualifications

Routes

• Regular long-haul runs between Canada and the USA

• Home terminal is Regina, SK

• Single and team runs available

• Schedule includes nights and weekends when needed

What you'll haul

• Legal-weight commercial loads, up to approximately 80,000 lbs gross vehicle weight where permitted

• You're responsible for keeping axle and vehicle weights within legal limits and making sure cargo is properly secured

Requirements

• Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident

• Eligible to cross the Canada-U.S. border

• Valid Class 1/AZ driver's licence

• Proven experience driving long-haul tractor-trailers (2 years of semi truck driving preferred)

• A clean, current driver's abstract you can provide

• Comfortable using an Electronic Logging Device (ELD)

• Solid grasp of Canadian and U.S. Hours of Service rules

• Able to pass pre-employment drug testing required for U.S. operations

• Familiar with commercial vehicle safety and transport regulations, including axle weights and load securement

• Skilled at pre-trip, en-route and post-trip inspections, plus backing, docking, coupling and uncoupling

• Clear, professional communication with dispatch, customers, border agents and enforcement officers

• Reliable and available for long-haul scheduling

• Team-driving experience is a plus for team positions

On the job, you'll handle pickups and deliveries on schedule, keep your ELD logs and trip paperwork accurate, watch for and report any mechanical or safety issues, and complete border and shipping documents while staying in regular contact with dispatch.
