Class 1 AB/BC Long-Haul Driver — $0.60/Mile Plus Winter Premium

Our company needs Class 1 long-haul drivers based in Alberta or British Columbia to run regular AB/BC lanes. You'll run mostly overnight routes Monday to Friday, hauling general freight in an automatic bunk truck.

Routes and schedule

• About 50-60 hours per week

• Roughly 3 runs weekly: 2x Calgary - Vancouver and 1x Calgary - Edmonton

• Overnight driving required, Monday through Friday

• 1-2 stops per day

Pay

• $0.60 per mile, paid monthly between $6,600.00 and $7,800.00

• Typically 10,000-12,000 miles driven per month

• $25 for each extra pickup or drop beyond the first pickup/first drop

• 10% extra for winter driving

• Wait time pays $20 once you've waited past 2 hours

Requirements

• At least 2 years of verifiable Class 1 driving experience

• Clean driving abstract and CVOR

• Valid driver's license

• Must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screen

• Comfortable using electronic logbooks (Motive ELD)

• Clean criminal record check

This is a full-time position based out of Alberta or British Columbia, working in person.
