Class 1/3 Vacuum Truck Driver — $35.00–$37.50/hr

Our company in Burnaby, BC needs a physically fit, dependable driver to run vacuum trucks and related equipment out of their facility. This is a full-time role with pay based on your experience.

Pay

• $35.00-$37.50 per hour, depending on experience

Schedule

• Full-time, Monday to Friday, core hours 7:30am-4:00pm

• Some early starts or late finishes based on daily project needs, plus overtime

• Occasional weekend work depending on client demand

What you'll drive and do

• Operate Class 1 or Class 3 vehicles: vacuum trucks, van trucks, and roll-off bin trucks

• Run daily pre-trip safety and maintenance checks, including fluids and greasing

• Work outdoors in all kinds of weather

• Handle paperwork and reporting for each job

• Lift up to 50 lbs while loading and unloading at customer sites

• Take on other tasks assigned by the Regional Operations Manager

Requirements

• Class 1 license preferred; Class 3 drivers with vac truck and industrial experience will also be considered

• Recent hands-on experience running a vacuum truck

• Clean driving record with a solid safety history

• Comfortable driving in mountain and winter conditions

• Long-haul driving and heavy equipment experience are a plus

• TDG and WHMIS training preferred; background in waste, recycling, or environmental services is a bonus but not mandatory

• Strong attention to detail and good problem-solving skills

• Able to work solo or as part of a team, with flexibility for extra hours when needed
