About this job
Our company needs a Sweeper Truck Driver for steady, full-time work around the Lower Mainland, BC. You'll run specialized sweeping equipment on local routes with a schedule that shifts day to day.
Schedule
- Days run 10-12 hours, with 5-6 shifts scheduled per week
- Pay bumps to overtime once you pass 8 hours in a day, then to double time past 12 hours
- Be ready for hours that move around, nights included
What you'll do
- Run a sweeper truck built for this kind of work
- Check the rig before each trip and log everything correctly
- Keep your truck clean and in safe working order
- Stick to safety procedures and treat customers well
Requirements
- Class 1 or Class 3 license with an air brake endorsement, no restriction to automatic transmission
- A minimum of 1 year running a sweeper truck
- Open to night work, overtime, and a schedule that isn't fixed
- Able to prove full vaccination, as required by the client
