About this job
Our company needs Snow Plow Truck Drivers for the winter season in the Sparwood/Elko area, running from October to approximately March 2027. You'll handle sanding, plowing and salting trucks whenever winter weather hits the road.
Schedule
- Seasonal role based out of Sparwood/Elko
- On-call shifts around the clock, 24/7, including overnight (graveyard) shifts
What you'll do
- Drive and operate trucks for hauling material
- Sand, plow and salt highways and roads during snow events
- Clear litter, debris and roadkill from the roadway
Requirements
- Class 1 or Class 3 driver's license with Air Brake endorsement
- Clean driver's abstract
- Able to drive a tandem truck and trailer, and operate a loader
- Comfortable working in harsh winter weather
- Construction or highway maintenance background is a plus, not required
- Mechanically minded and a fast learner
- Positive, team-oriented attitude with good communication skills
- Strong focus on safety
