Class 1/3 Regional Straight Truck Driver — Moncton, NB — $20.78-$36.89/hr

Igloo Transport needs a full-time Class 1 or Class 3 driver out of Moncton, New Brunswick. You'll run a straight truck out of the Moncton cross-dock for local and regional runs across New Brunswick and PEI.

What you'll do

• Drive a commercial straight truck safely

• Pick up loads at the Moncton cross-dock and run local and regional deliveries

• Do pre-trip and post-trip checks

• Load and unload freight as needed, using a pallet jack and liftgate when required

• Log delivery paperwork and keep the TMS/mobile system updated

• Stay in touch with dispatch on routing, deliveries and any delays or issues

• Keep good working relationships with customers and warehouse staff

Requirements

• Valid Canadian Class 1 or Class 3 licence with Air Brake endorsement

• Fluent English for daily work communication; Chinese is a plus

• Straight truck driving experience preferred

• Knowing the roads around Moncton, New Brunswick and PEI is a plus

• Able to use computers or mobile devices for TMS and delivery tracking

• Willing to work early, late or weekend shifts as needed

• Clean driving record, no major violations

• Able to help with some loading and unloading

• Punctual, responsible and customer-focused

• Legally authorized to work in Canada
