About this job
Our company in Fort McMurray, AB needs Class 1 or 3 drivers to run and maintain industrial service equipment like Hydrovac, Vacuum Trucks and High-Pressure units. This is a permanent, full-time role on a 21/14 rotation with the 362 Teamsters Union.
Pay
- Starting rate of $37.17/hour
Schedule
- 21 days on, 14 days off rotation
What you'll do
- Operate, drive and stage equipment such as High Pressure and Super B units
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections, plus basic maintenance and repairs
- Check in with dispatch regularly
- Join daily safety briefings and follow all safety procedures
- Work inside confined spaces like tanks and vessels, and may haul hazardous materials
- Coordinate closely with customers, coworkers and supervisors
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 or 3 license, with the ability to drive manual transmissions up to 18 speeds
- At least one year of experience driving and operating Hydrovac, Vacuum Truck or High-Pressure equipment
- Able to get site access for oilsands locations including Suncor, CNOOC and CNRL
- Comfortable working independently within a safety-driven team
- Willing to work outdoors in all weather for long stretches
