CDL Truck Driver — Tanker/Hazmat, $60,000–$100,000/yr

Our company is looking for a dependable commercial truck driver to haul freight, including hazmat and tanker loads, on routes of varying length. You'll need a valid CDL and experience handling specialized cargo under DOT rules.

Pay

• $60,000.00 to $100,000.00 per year

What you'll haul

• General freight on both long and short routes, delivered on schedule

• Hazardous materials and tanker loads, handled under required safety protocols and with proper permits and paperwork

What you'll do

• Run pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks to catch mechanical or safety problems early

• Keep accurate records of hours driven, cargo carried and inspections, as federal and state rules require

• Stay in touch with dispatch, clients and coworkers about delivery timing and any issues that come up on the road

• Follow traffic laws, safety rules and company procedures at all times

Requirements

• Valid CDL with proven commercial driving experience

• Working knowledge of DOT hours-of-service, maintenance and safety rules

• Hazmat certification preferred

• Two years of tanker experience

• Comfortable performing basic inspections and maintenance checks

• Strong focus on safety, reliability and on-time delivery
