CDL Truck Driver — OTR, $2,000–$3,500/wk

Our company in Naperville, IL is looking for a CDL truck driver to haul freight over the road and on local runs. You'll handle a mix of equipment, from tractor-trailers to reefers, flatbeds and tankers, while keeping deliveries on time and within regulation.

What you'll haul

• Freight in tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds and tankers

• Both OTR routes and local delivery runs

• Hazmat and other dangerous goods when required, following DOT and hazardous materials rules

What the job involves

• Loading and unloading cargo by hand when needed, securing it per FMCSA rules

• Running GPS-guided routes to hit delivery windows

• Keeping accurate hours-of-service logs and delivery paperwork

• Doing full pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks

• Staying in contact with dispatch on route updates, delays or issues

• Following DOT rules on load securement and loading/unloading procedures

Pay

$2,000.00 - $3,500.00 per week

Requirements

• Valid CDL, with hazmat, tanker or other endorsements as needed for the load

• Solid commercial driving background, including route and delivery work in various truck types

• Comfortable with manual transmissions and manual freight handling

• Working knowledge of FMCSA and DOT rules, hazmat regulations and safe loading practices

• Experience with reefers, flatbeds or tankers a plus
