CDL Truck Driver

Our company in Canton, OH is looking for a tractor-trailer driver to pick up, haul and deliver products on local and over-the-road routes, following all applicable transport laws and company policies, and reporting to dispatch or operations management.

Requirements

• At least 21 years old

• Able to pass a DOT physical and all required drug screens

• At least 1 year of experience driving commercial vehicles similar to the company's equipment, or completion of the company's training program

• Valid commercial driver's license from your home state, with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements (endorsements may be optional)

• No license suspension or revocation lasting over 30 days in the past 36 months, for any reason

• Clean record over the past 36 months for serious violations such as DUI, refusing a chemical test, open container violations, reckless homicide, driving under suspension, hit and run, racing, vehicular homicide, assault with a vehicle, reckless or careless driving, unauthorized vehicle use, or fleeing police

• No more than 4 other moving violations in the past 36 months

• No more than 2 at-fault accidents in the past 36 months, and accident/violation history must stay within the company's combined limits (no more than 2 at-fault accidents with 2 violations, or 1 at-fault accident with 3 violations)

What you'll do

• Check your tractor and trailer before and after each trip (tires, brakes, fuel, oil, water and other equipment) and file a vehicle condition report

• Drive your tractor-trailer combination between pickup and delivery points

• Keep driver logs and paperwork up to date per company and DOT rules

• Help technologists as needed
