CDL Truck Driver — $25.53–$30.75/hr

Our company is looking for a driver to haul freight on both local and over-the-road routes out of Old Lyme, CT. Depending on the load, you may run dry van, refrigerated, flatbed, or tanker trailers, and part-time hours are available (16-30 hours per week).

Pay

• $25.53 - $30.75 an hour

What you'll haul

• General freight using tractor-trailers

• Possible assignments with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, or tankers depending on the load

Responsibilities

• Follow assigned local and long-haul routes using GPS navigation

• Check your vehicle and make sure cargo is properly secured before heading out

• Load and unload freight by hand when needed

• Flag any equipment or cargo issues right away

Requirements

• Commercial driving credentials matching the vehicle and assignment

• Working knowledge of DOT and FMCSA rules

• Comfortable driving a manual transmission

• Prior delivery driving experience is a plus

• Background in auto transport, logistics, reefers, flatbeds, or tankers is a plus

• Hazmat handling experience is a plus; regulated loads must follow hazmat rules
