CDL Truck Driver — $23.60–$34.65/hr

Our company in Rockford, IL needs a CDL truck driver to run company trucks and tractor-trailers for deliveries, handling the required paperwork and inspections along the way.

Pay

• $23.60 to $34.65 per hour

What you'll do

• Drive company-owned, leased or rented trucks and tractor-trailers under direction from the transportation, plant or site manager

• Follow verbal instructions and posted delivery schedules

• Load and unload freight as part of the job

• Complete required DOT vehicle inspections

• Keep driver logs, trip reports, bills of lading and delivery receipts up to date, along with fuel and repair receipts

• Weigh and adjust axle weights on your tractor and trailer

• Report any accidents or violations as required by DOT rules and company policy

Requirements

• Valid CDL and current DOT medical card

• High school diploma or GED preferred

• Two verifiable years of experience operating this type of equipment

• Clean driving record: no more than 2 moving violations or 4 points under Ring Can's MVR policy

• Must pass pre-employment, random and post-accident drug testing and MVR checks

• Reliable attendance, ability to take direction, work well with others, handle deadlines, stay focused and adapt to changing tasks
