CDL Truck Driver — 1st Shift, Red Lion, PA

Our company in Red Lion, PA is hiring a full-time CDL truck driver for first shift to haul materials and finished goods between company facilities and customer sites.

What you'll haul

• Materials and finished products moving between Tate facilities and customer locations

• You'll coordinate with the shipping team to confirm each order is correct before you leave, and check shipment paperwork against the load

What you'll do

• Drive commercial vehicles on scheduled routes, following DOT rules and company policy

• Do pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections

• Load, secure and unload freight carefully to avoid damage

• Plan your route and manage your delivery schedule

• Keep accurate logs and delivery paperwork, and collect proof of delivery at customer sites

• Call dispatch or your supervisor right away if there's a delay, problem or incident

• Deal with customers professionally during drop-offs

• Follow hours-of-service rules, wear required PPE, and complete safety and compliance training as scheduled

• Keep your assigned vehicle clean and report any mechanical issues

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED

• Valid CDL

• 2+ years of truck driving experience preferred

• Clean driving record and solid knowledge of DOT regulations

• Comfortable securing loads and handling materials

• Good attention to detail for documentation, plus strong communication and customer service skills

• Able to work independently and manage your own time
