About this job
Our company is looking for a reliable driver to haul freight safely and get it where it needs to go, on time. Depending on the assignment, you could be behind the wheel of a tractor-trailer pulling dry van, reefer, flatbed, or tanker equipment, running local routes or longer OTR hauls.
Pay
- $1,500.00 - $1,850.00 per week
What you'll haul
- General freight, refrigerated loads, flatbed cargo, tanker loads, and vehicle shipments depending on the assignment
- Some loads may involve hazardous materials, handled under DOT/FMCSA rules
What you'll do
- Operate commercial trucks on scheduled routes using GPS
- Load, unload, and secure cargo properly for transport
- Keep up with required inspections and delivery paperwork
- Follow all DOT and FMCSA safety regulations
Requirements
- Valid commercial driving credentials matching the vehicle and assignment
- Comfortable driving a manual transmission if the truck requires it
- Able to safely load, unload, and secure freight
- Prior delivery, truck driving, or tractor-trailer experience is a plus, including OTR work
- Experience with reefers, flatbeds, tankers, or vehicle transport is a plus
- Hazmat endorsement and experience preferred for loads that require it
