Our company in Winter Haven, FL is looking for a truck driver to haul freight safely on local and over-the-road routes. You'll handle different trailer types and keep deliveries on schedule while following safety rules.
Pay
- $1,450.00 - $2,400.00 per week
What you'll haul
- Freight using refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, or tankers, depending on the assignment
- Some loads may involve automobile transport
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks, including manual-transmission vehicles, on local and long-haul routes
- Load, unload, and secure cargo appropriately for each trailer type
- Plan routes using GPS and keep vehicles and cargo inspected
- Follow DOT and FMCSA rules, including hazardous materials requirements when they apply
- Report any delays, safety issues, or equipment problems
Requirements
- Experience driving commercial trucks; delivery driving experience is a plus
- Comfortable handling a manual transmission and a tractor-trailer
- Experience with reefers, flatbeds, or tankers is helpful
- Understanding of freight handling and safe loading practices
- Familiarity with DOT/FMCSA rules; hazmat experience preferred
- Valid commercial driving credentials matching the vehicle and routes, with a clean driving record
