CDL Pickup & Delivery Driver — $94,731–$103,332/yr Average

Our company is looking for a local Pickup & Delivery (P&D) Driver in Pensacola, FL to run a tractor-trailer on local routes, representing the company directly to customers.

What you'll do

• Pick up and deliver freight on local routes, working first shift

• Couple and uncouple trailers, hook up lines, and adjust equipment as needed

• Inspect your vehicle before and after runs

• Load and unload cargo

• Complete transport paperwork accurately, including hazmat documentation

• Navigate tight spaces and heavy traffic safely

• Report delays or incidents and follow all safety rules and company policy

• Keep a professional, customer-first attitude on every stop

Pay

Average annual pay ranges from $94,731 to $103,332, depending on experience, hours worked, and location.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of driving experience (1 year preferred)

• High school diploma or GED

• Valid CDL with HAZMAT, Tanker, and Twin Trailers endorsements, no automatic restriction

• Minimum age 21

• Able to read, understand, and write in English; do basic math; handle receipts; read maps and road signs; and keep accurate driving logs

• Strong working knowledge of DOT rules covering safe driving, hours of service, vehicle inspections, and hazmat transport

• Must meet DOT physical qualifications and pass drug and alcohol screening
