CDL OTR Truck Driver — $2,500–$4,000/Week

Run long-haul freight across the country as an OTR truck driver, handling refrigerated, flatbed and tanker loads. You'll keep shipments moving on schedule while following all federal and state trucking rules.

What you'll haul

• Refrigerated trailers, flatbeds and tankers on routes spanning multiple states

• Freight that may include hazardous materials, secured and handled per HazMat rules

What you'll do

• Plan your routes with GPS to save time and fuel

• Load and unload freight by hand, securing it properly, including any dangerous goods

• Run pre-trip and post-trip checks covering load security, tires, brakes, lights and fluids

• Keep accurate paperwork: delivery receipts, logs, inspection and incident reports

• Stay in touch with dispatch and customers on scheduling and any issues along the route

• Follow FMCSA, DOT and HazMat rules at every step

Requirements

• Valid CDL with a clean driving record

• Solid OTR experience hauling freight over long distances

• Comfortable with refrigerated, flatbed, tanker and auto-transport trailers (a plus)

• Working knowledge of FMCSA, DOT and HazMat regulations

• Confident driving manual transmission trucks and handling freight by hand

• Strong GPS route-planning skills
