CDL OTR Truck Driver — $1,200–$1,600/Week

Our company in Memphis, TN is looking for an over-the-road truck driver to haul freight on long-distance routes using tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers and refrigerated trailers. You'll handle everything from route planning to cargo securement while keeping safety and compliance front and center.

What you'll do

• Drive a variety of equipment (tractor-trailers, reefers, flatbeds, tankers) on long-haul routes

• Plan efficient trips with GPS and adjust in real time as needed

• Load and unload freight by hand, securing it properly for transit

• Haul hazardous materials and dangerous goods per Hazmat rules when required

• Stay compliant with FMCSA and DOT regulations at all times

• Occasionally secure and transport vehicles as part of your loads

• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and report mechanical or safety issues

• Keep accurate logs for hours of service, cargo manifests and any incidents

• Stay in contact with dispatch to coordinate deliveries and sort out routing issues

Requirements

• Valid CDL; Hazmat, tanker or refrigerated trailer endorsements preferred

• Solid track record driving commercial trucks on OTR routes

• Working knowledge of FMCSA, DOT and hazardous materials safety rules

• Comfortable with manual transmissions and hands-on freight handling

• Able to use GPS systems for navigation and route adjustments

• Clean driving record and background check required
