CDL OTR Box Truck Driver — $1,400–$1,700/Week

Our company is looking for an experienced OTR box truck driver based out of Charlotte, NC. You'll haul freight over the road, handle loading and unloading, and keep your truck running within DOT and FMCSA rules.

Pay

• $1,400.00 to $1,700.00 per week, calculated as 25% of gross weekly income

• 50% off hotel rooms for 3 nights a week

Schedule and home time

• Typical rotation is 3 weeks out with 1 week home, though you can run longer if you want more time on the road

• The truck comes back to the Charlotte, NC yard during your home time for upkeep

What you'll haul

• Box truck freight on local and long-haul routes, including handling of sensitive or hazardous loads when needed

• You'll load and unload cargo yourself using proper handling methods

Requirements

• At least 1 year of OTR driving experience

• Clean driving record

• Valid DOT medical card

• Working knowledge of ELD systems

• Comfortable with basic truck mechanics and technical checks

• Familiarity with FMCSA and DOT rules, including hazmat handling where relevant

• Manual transmission experience is a plus

What the job involves

• Running your routes safely and on schedule using GPS

• Performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections

• Keeping delivery paperwork, logs and compliance records up to date

• Staying in touch with dispatch about your status, route issues or delays
