CDL Flatbed OTR Driver — $2,000–$2,500/Week

Our company is looking for a CDL flatbed driver for over-the-road routes hauling varied freight, including oversized and hazmat loads. You'll handle loading, securing and delivering cargo while keeping safety and compliance front and center.

Pay

• $2,000.00 to $2,500.00 per week

• A bonus is paid after 30 days on the job

• Fuel is included

What you'll haul

• Flatbed trailers carrying a mix of freight, including oversized loads and hazardous materials

• Some runs may involve refrigerated trailers or tanker equipment

The job

• Drive flatbed tractor-trailers on assigned OTR routes while following DOT and FMCSA rules

• Load, secure and unload cargo by hand or with equipment like forklifts or roll-off trucks

• Plan routes with GPS, watching for traffic and road conditions to stay on schedule

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks, including manual transmission and tanker attachments where applicable

• Stay in contact with dispatch about schedules, route changes and load instructions

• Keep accurate records of hours driven, cargo details, inspections and delivery paperwork

Requirements

• Valid CDL with a clean driving history; manual transmission experience preferred

• Background operating flatbed or similar tractor-trailer equipment

• Comfortable with load securing and cargo handling procedures

• Familiar with hazmat rules when hauling dangerous goods

• Confident using GPS for route planning on long-haul trips

• Solid grasp of DOT and FMCSA safety standards

• Able to physically manage freight handling; forklift certification is a plus
