Our company in Salt Lake City, UT is looking for 2 dump truck drivers who can handle manual transmission equipment. You'll haul materials like gravel, sand, concrete or dirt over short hauls.
Pay
- $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
What you'll haul
- Gravel, sand, concrete or dirt, moved over short distances
- Some flexibility to cover delivery routes or regional lanes as needed
What the job involves
- Operating a dump truck safely while following traffic laws
- Completing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks
- Sticking to delivery schedules and routes to hit deadlines
- Logging deliveries, mileage and fuel use accurately
Requirements
- Valid CDL with a clean driving record
- Solid background driving different types of trucks
- Comfortable operating heavy equipment and machinery
- Experience with manual transmission vehicles
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
- Heavy equipment operation experience is a plus
