Our company in Seymour, CT is looking for a dump truck driver to haul construction materials and debris between job sites, quarries and other locations. Night shift work.

- $25.00 to $31.48 per hour

What you'll haul
- Construction materials, debris and other freight to and from job sites, quarries and other designated locations
What you'll do
- Drive a dump truck or tri-axle truck safely and professionally
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections each day
- Load, secure and unload materials properly
- Keep accurate logs, tickets and delivery records
- Follow DOT rules, company policies and safety procedures
- Stay in contact with dispatch, site supervisors and coworkers
- Keep the truck clean and flag any mechanical problems right away
- Pay close attention to detail and follow directions closely
Requirements
- Valid CDL Class A or B
- Clean driving record with a solid safety history
- Prior experience behind the wheel of a dump truck or tri-axle truck
- Paving and milling experience of 2 years is preferred
