CDL Dump Truck Driver — $25.00-$30.00/hr

Our company in Murfreesboro, TN needs a driver to haul construction materials, debris and other freight to job sites. Routes include both local runs and longer hauls, and you'll be responsible for keeping loads secure and deliveries on schedule.

Pay

• $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

What you'll haul

• Construction materials, debris and other freight

• Loads may involve dump trucks, tractor-trailers, flatbeds or tankers

• Some runs may include hazardous materials, following all required handling rules

What you'll do

• Drive assigned routes, both local and over-the-road

• Load and unload cargo by hand when needed, securing it properly

• Use GPS to plan and follow efficient routes

• Keep accurate logs of hours, cargo and delivery paperwork per DOT rules

• Complete pre-trip and routine vehicle checks to keep the truck safe and compliant

Requirements

• Valid CDL with tractor-trailer endorsement

• Manual transmission experience preferred

• Solid background driving commercial trucks on varied routes and terrain

• Working knowledge of FMCSA and DOT rules, including hazardous materials handling

• Comfortable loading and unloading freight by hand safely

• Experience navigating with GPS

• Clean driving record with a history of safely operating heavy trucks over long distances
