CDL Driver

Our company in Nashville, TN is looking for a CDL driver to handle deliveries and keep freight moving safely and on time.

What you'll do

• Drive in line with all local, state and federal trucking rules

• Check your vehicle before and after each trip to confirm it's safe and compliant

• Keep records of your trips, covering mileage, fuel and maintenance

• Plan and follow efficient routes while sticking to your schedule

• Keep dispatch updated on any delays or problems on the road

• Make sure cargo is loaded and strapped down so it doesn't shift or get damaged

• Help plan routes to make deliveries as efficient as possible

Requirements

• Valid CDL with a clean driving record

• Background in delivery driving or other commercial driving work

• Comfortable loading and unloading various freight types

• Solid route planning and navigation ability

• Good time management and ability to hit deadlines

• Clear communicator with dispatchers and customers

• Able to work solo or as part of a team
