CDL Driver & Crane Operator — $31.25–$40.58/hr

SRS Building Products in Arlington, WA is looking for a CDL driver who also runs the crane, delivering building materials to job sites within a 200-mile radius. You'll handle the truck, crane and forklift work, keep paperwork straight, and work directly with customers and rooftop loading crews.

Pay

Base pay runs $31.25 to $40.58 per hour, with the exact starting rate depending on things like experience, training and location. Overtime applies for hourly staff when business needs call for it, and some roles may qualify for bonus programs, commissions, a car or fuel allowance, and travel expense reimbursement.

What you'll do

• Drive loads to customer sites within 200 miles, following DOT rules and company procedure

• Run pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks, then operate the crane and forklift to unload materials without damage, working with rooftop loaders as needed

• Confirm inventory counts, photograph completed deliveries, and flag any safety concerns you spot on site

• Handle customer-facing service at delivery points and pitch in on warehouse and yard upkeep

Physical demands

Expect to lift as much as 100 pounds, work outside in all kinds of weather, climb ladders, get into tight spaces, and deal with loud equipment noise on a regular basis. The company can discuss accommodations under the ADA if needed.

Requirements

• Valid CDL with an air brakes endorsement

• Able to perform routine vehicle maintenance and safety inspections, with a working knowledge of basic mechanical systems

• Hands-on experience with conveyor belts, knuckle booms, or crane-mounted trucks

• Forklift experience required; a forklift certification is a plus

• Familiar with DOT and OSHA safety rules

• Comfortable reading, writing and speaking English

• Comfortable inspecting job sites and reporting back on conditions found

• A clean driving history - no hit-and-run, DWI or DUI incidents in the last 36 months

• Must clear a background check and drug test

• High school diploma or equivalent

Certifications

• Current DOT medical card

• NCCCO crane certification with ABC/ABL required

• Nice to have but not required: Truck Crane Operation, Telescopic Boom (Fixed Cab), Boom Truck (Fixed Cab), and Articulating Boom Crane certifications
