CDL Delivery Driver — Window Delivery

Our company in Miami, FL is looking for a delivery driver to bring window orders from the plant to customers. You'll need to handle large, fragile items carefully while keeping deliveries on schedule and customers satisfied.

What you'll do

• Load and unload windows and related products with care

• Run your deliveries along planned routes and timeframes

• Talk with customers professionally and handle any questions or issues that come up

• Check your vehicle regularly and flag any problems to management

• Follow traffic laws, safety rules and company procedures while transporting windows

• Fill out delivery logs, get customer signatures, and note any special instructions

• Match delivery contents to shipping paperwork before handing items off

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred

• Prior experience delivering or driving commercially is a plus, especially with large or fragile freight

• A valid driver's license with the right classification (CDL preferred or required depending on the role) and a clean driving record

• Good organizational and time-management skills

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with others

• Comfortable working independently and adjusting to changing situations

• Some familiarity with basic vehicle inspection and upkeep

Physical demands

• Lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling items up to 50-75 pounds regularly

• Frequent bending, kneeling, stooping and reaching

• Standing, walking and sitting for long stretches during the day

• Getting in and out of the delivery vehicle multiple times a day

• Securing loads with straps and related equipment

• Handling tools, paperwork and delivery equipment with good manual dexterity

• Working in all kinds of weather and across residential, commercial and industrial delivery locations
