Our company is looking for a dependable CDL driver to handle delivery runs out of Greensboro, NC. This is a contract role with weekly pay tied to completed delivery blocks.
Pay
- $1,500 to $2,100 per week, depending on the Amazon block completed
What you'll do
- Drive and maintain the company vehicle safely, following traffic laws and company policies
- Deliver cargo and packages to assigned locations on schedule
- Check your vehicle before and after each trip and report any mechanical issues right away
- Confirm deliveries with customers, check paperwork, and collect signatures or proof of delivery
- Treat customers and clients professionally and courteously
Requirements
- Valid CDL with a clean driving record
- At least 1 year of driving or logistics experience preferred
- Minimum age 21 (insurance requirement)
- Able to handle long periods of driving and walking
- Must pass a background check and MVR screening
- Good communication skills, comfortable with GPS apps, and solid time management
