CDL Cross-Border Long Haul Truck Driver — $55,000–$70,000/Year

Our company is looking for an experienced long haul truck driver to run freight across Canada and the USA. You'll need a clean record and the ability to cross the border for work.

Pay

• $55,000–$70,000 per year

What you'll haul

• General freight on long-haul routes between Canada and the USA

• Reefer experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Drive long-haul routes safely, following traffic and safety rules

• Deliver freight on time from origin to destination

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections

• Secure cargo properly for transit

• Keep accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel

• Stay in contact with dispatch and clients about schedules

Requirements

• Valid CDL with a clean driving record

• Legally able to enter the USA for work

• Clean criminal record check

• Pass a DOT drug/alcohol test

• Acceptable driving abstract

• 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience, preferably long-haul in Canada and the USA

• Knowledge of freight handling and securement

• Secondary school education
