CDL-B Waste Collection Driver — Massillon, OH

Our company needs a CDL-B driver in Massillon, OH to run a collection truck on a set route, picking up waste safely and professionally for customers each day.

What you'll do

• Check your truck before and after each shift, looking at tires, fluids, gauges and safety gear, and note any issues on the standard forms

• Drive your assigned route using the route sheet or dispatcher directions, service each stop, and haul loads to the disposal site

• Run the lifting and compacting controls to load refuse and unload at the designated facility

• Flag containers that don't meet guidelines and keep an eye out for waste that shouldn't be in the load

• Clean up after any spills following safety rules, and keep the truck body and packer blade clear of debris after each dump

• Fill out route, productivity and vehicle condition reports as required, and stay on top of your route's productivity targets

• Treat customers, dispatch and coworkers with courtesy and professionalism, and take part in the company's ReSOP safety program

Requirements

• Class B (or higher) Commercial Driver's License with an air brakes endorsement
