CDL-B Training Program — Ready-Mix Driver, Home Daily, $26.91/hr

Our company in Charlotte, NC will train you for your CDL B license and set you up as a Ready-Mix Concrete Driver, even if you've never driven a truck before. Routes run local and you're home every day, with steady year-round work.

Training

• Online theory training (unpaid)

• CDL B permit boot camp (unpaid)

• One week of paid onsite driver training at $20.00/hour

• Whole program runs about 3 weeks

Pay

• Once you're licensed and trained, you'll earn $26.91/hour

• At least 40 hours a week guaranteed

• Double time for weekend work

• Extra pay available for off-hour shifts

• Quarterly bonuses and a share of profits

• $2,500 sign-on bonus once you finish training and meet employment requirements

• $1,000 more at 90 days of full-time work, plus $1,500 at the 180-day mark

• Local routes mean you get home every day

• Jobs are spread across the Charlotte market, covering Concord, Salisbury, Denver, Statesville, Hickory, Kings Mountain, Dallas, Mooresville, Matthews, Monroe, Rock Hill SC and Lancaster SC

• Where you're placed depends on business needs; if you're assigned outside Charlotte, you still need to be able to deliver into the Charlotte market when needed

Requirements

• At least 21 years old

• Current driver's license

• Clean driving history

• Steady work background

• Able to pass required pre-employment checks

• Physically able to walk, bend and stoop; lift up to 25 pounds to chest height; climb in and out of the cab repeatedly through the day; and handle and clean concrete chutes

• Takes safety and customer service seriously

You'd be hauling concrete that goes into homes, schools, roads and businesses around the Charlotte area.
