About this job
Our company Group, a southeastern US fuel and lubricant distributor, needs a local tanker driver for its Asheboro, NC area routes. You'll run a company-owned truck, team up with dispatch to plan smart routes, and get your weekends back.
Home time
- Weekends off every week
What you'll haul
- Automotive, commercial, and industrial fuels and lubricants, moved by tanker
Requirements
- Current Class A or Class B CDL
- Must hold a tanker endorsement
- Hazmat endorsement not mandatory to start, but a plus
- Current DOT physical card and endorsements kept up to date at all times
What the job involves
- Deliver loads safely, following manifests and DOT rules
- Work with dispatch to keep your routes running smoothly
- Handle loading and unloading at stops
- Run pre-trip and post-trip checks and log hours through DOT e-logs
- Treat customers professionally at every stop
- Flag any accidents, damage, or equipment trouble right away
