CDL-B Swing Route Driver — Monday–Friday, 5am Start

WM is looking for a CDL-B driver to run swing routes covering residential, commercial and construction sites in Boynton Beach, FL. You'll work Monday through Friday starting at 5am.

What you'll do

• Drive a heavy-duty commercial vehicle safely across different environments and route types

• Complete pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections using the standard DVIR form, noting any issues for repair

• Fully empty containers and leave each stop clean and free of debris

• Place containers back so lids sit properly, they stand upright, and they don't block driveways or traffic

• Report unsafe conditions, service issues, accidents or injuries right away to your Route Manager or Dispatch

• Flag blocked containers, possible missed pickups, or other route problems through Dispatch

• Pass along customer feedback or requests to your Route Manager or Dispatch

• Submit tickets for extra yardage that needs removal

• Join required training sessions and meetings, and help spot ways to make routes safer and more efficient

• Finish all paperwork when you check in at the end of your route

Requirements

• CDL-B

• At least 2 years of experience driving a vehicle requiring a CDL, or equivalent military driving experience within the last 7 years

• Strong enough English skills to deal with the public, read traffic signs, answer official questions, and fill out reports

• At least 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the country where this job is based

• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical

• High school diploma or GED preferred

The job involves standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, reaching, handling, sitting, talking and hearing.
