CDL-B Shuttle Bus Driver — $26/hr Starting Pay

Our company in Glenwood Springs, CO needs a CDL-B shuttle bus driver to move guests up and down Iron Mountain whenever the Gondola isn't running due to weather or other conditions. Outside of those shuttle runs, you'll pitch in across the park with guest service, attractions, and general upkeep. Both full-time and part-time schedules are available.

Pay

• Starting at $26 per hour.

What you'll haul

• No freight here: you'll be driving guests up and down Iron Mountain via Transfer Trail whenever the Gondola is closed or alternate transportation is needed.

What you'll do

• Drive the bus safely on Transfer Trail, following all operating rules.

• Handle required DOT vehicle inspections and keep the paperwork accurate.

• Stay in radio contact with the Base Operations Manager and Manager on Duty about your location and park activity.

• Keep the buses clean and ready to go.

• Offer friendly, helpful answers to guest questions about the park.

• Lend a hand during busy arrival times with Guest Services, clearing tables, cleaning, and trash pickup.

• Train and work as a Gondola Attendant or Operator, covering breaks or shifts as needed.

• Help with attractions and other operational tasks when you're not driving.

• Take on other duties as the park requires.

Schedule

• Shifts run 8 hours and can fall in the morning, daytime, evening, weekends, or holidays depending on operational needs.

Requirements

• At least 21 years old.

• Valid Class B CDL with passenger endorsement.

• Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and take part in random DOT testing.

• Comfortable driving a bus through shifting mountain weather and road conditions.

• Able to work outside in extreme heat or cold.

• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English for safety and guest communication.

• Detail-oriented, able to use good judgment, and comfortable working independently.

• Friendly, professional, and strong with customer service.

• Has reliable transportation to get to the park.

• Flexible with availability across mornings, days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Prior bus-driving experience is a plus but not required.
