CDL-A Truck Driver Trainer — Mileage Pay Plus $200/Week

Our company is looking for experienced CDL-A drivers to step into a trainer role, mentoring new drivers on the road while earning extra pay for the time you put in.

Pay

• Mileage pay between $0.45 and $0.63 per mile

• Top performing trainers average $125,600 a year, or about $2,400 a week

• You're paid for both your own miles and your student's miles while training

• An extra $200 a week whenever a student is riding with you, on top of mileage pay

• Earn a bonus that matches your graduate's safety and production bonuses during their first year on the job

Requirements

• Class A CDL and at least 21 years old

• Either 6 months of Class A driving in the past year, or 1 year within the past 5 years

• No more than one preventable accident in the last 2 years, and no major accident in the last 5

• No more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years

• Able to pass a DOT physical and drug screening

• To train, you'll need at least 30 days with Knight, 60,000 solo miles, and one winter season of OTR driving

• Willing to be out on the road for a minimum of two weeks at a stretch

• No more than one moving violation in the past year and no more than one preventable incident
