CDL-B Shredding Route Driver — $22.00–$30.00/hr

Our company needs a route driver to operate a Class B certified shred truck, serving business customers across western Washington with on-site document destruction.

What you'll do

• Drive a 5-day, 40-hour week route visiting customer sites to shred documents securely

• Empty and tie off console bags so no paper escapes, then move them to the truck

• Wheel 64-gallon bins to the truck and shred the contents on site

• Check that consoles and bins are fully emptied, then fit new bags and lock up

• Keep the truck's gates secured during shredding so nothing spills out

• Get the customer's signature right after shredding and walk them through their certificate of destruction

• Log the time each job was finished and fill out your daily paperwork

Pay

$22.00-$30.00 per hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma

• Class B license with a full driver CPC card

• Driving experience; route driving experience of 1 year is preferred

• Able to do physically demanding work, including safely handling large wheeled bins on and off the truck

• Strong customer service skills and flexibility with working hours

• Comfortable reading client instructions and writing clear notes on daily reports

• English required

• Must pass a drug test and provide at least two references
