CDL-B Route Driver — Steady M-F Schedule, $500 Referral Bonus

Our company in Parkersburg, WV needs a CDL-B route driver to deliver compressed gas cylinders and Dewars to local and regional business customers using a company-provided truck. You'll handle loading, unloading and hands-on delivery work at customer sites.

Schedule

• Typical days run Monday through Thursday, starting between 6:00 and 7:30am

• Occasional weekend work (Friday, Saturday or Sunday) helps cover the team and customers

• Hours average around 40 per week

What you'll do

• Run pre-trip and post-trip checks on your vehicle

• Load and unload cylinders, Dewars and supplies each day

• Secure and unsecure cylinders safely during transport

• Deliver to customer sites using a hand cart, getting in and out of the truck often

• Build courteous, professional relationships with the customers you serve

Requirements

• Valid Class A or Class B CDL with HAZMAT and airbrake endorsements (HAZMAT is mandatory; you won't be considered without it)

• Clean enough driving history: no more than two traffic violations or two at-fault accidents in the past 3 years, or one of each combined

• No DUI or controlled substance violations in the past 7 years

• Able to work in a drug-free workplace

• Physically able to lift 75 lbs regularly and move loads over 125 lbs with equipment assistance

• At least 1 year of CDL driving experience within the last 5 years, or a trucking school completion certificate from within the last 12 months

• Forklift experience is a plus but not required
