About this job
Our company is looking for a part-time solo Class A CDL driver in Huntington, WV to shuttle empty equipment trailers between customer sites on a local, no-touch route. You'll be home every day, working Monday through Friday mornings into early afternoon.
Pay
- $18.00 per hour, paid weekly
- Typical weekly pay runs around $540, based on an average of 25-30 hours
Schedule
- Monday-Friday, roughly 7 AM to 4 PM
- Hours can vary week to week
Home time
- Local route, home every day
What you'll haul
- Empty trailers moved between our company customer locations as part of an equipment shuttle service
- No-touch freight
Requirements
- At least 21 years old
- Valid Class A CDL with the right endorsements
- Qualifying tractor-trailer experience: 9 months in the last 3 years, 2 years in the last 5, or 5 years in the last 10
- Clean results on a drug test, background check, MVR review and DOT physical
- Able to pass a company road test
- Comfortable following written and verbal instructions and applying relevant regulations
