About this job
Our company is hiring CDL-B drivers to deliver ready mix concrete to local job sites in Northern Illinois and Southeast Wisconsin. You'll run local routes and be home every night.
Pay
- $36.00 to $45.00 per hour

Home time
- Local hauls only, home every night
What you'll haul
- Ready mix concrete, delivered to local job sites multiple times a day
- Supports an operation running 8 production plants and more than 100 trucks, serving both residential and industrial projects
What you'll do
- Deliver concrete safely and look out for customers at every stop
- Run the truck's loading and unloading controls and check each load visually
- Log deliveries accurately and stay in touch with dispatch and customers
- Keep your rig clean and complete DOT pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Lift loads up to 50 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 100 lbs, and climb truck ladders often
- Drive defensively in all weather and traffic, and stay DOT qualified
Requirements
- CDL Class B required
- Clean driving record and solid work ethic
- Able to work overtime as needed
- Must pass a physical demands assessment and meet DOT medical card and drug/alcohol testing rules
- About 1 year of truck driving experience preferred
- Ready mix experience is a plus but not required
