CDL-B Propane Delivery Driver — Local/Regional in Eastern NC

Our company is looking for a full-time CDL-B driver to deliver LP gas to homes, farms and businesses across Eastern North Carolina. Routes are local and regional, and you'll be on call for some nights, weekends and holidays.

What you'll haul

• LP gas (propane), delivered to commercial, agricultural and residential customers

• You'll load the transport vehicle yourself and handle the product according to company and regulatory rules

What the job involves

• Deliver propane safely and on schedule, following local, state and federal rules

• Inspect your vehicle each day per Federal Motor Carrier safety standards

• Keep delivery records current and complete paperwork like manifests and invoices

• Stay in touch with dispatch and your supervisor, and report any equipment problems right away

• Follow DOT, OSHA, FDA and NFPA rules around handling and transporting propane

• Take on other tasks as your supervisor assigns

Requirements

• Age 21 or older

• High school diploma or GED

• Basic reading and math skills

• Clean driving record

• Valid medical examiner's certificate

• CDL Class B with HazMat and Tanker endorsements

• 1-2 years of delivery driving experience; propane industry background is a plus

• Must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check

• Willing to work on-call shifts including nights, weekends and holidays

• Must be able to commute to Stantonsburg, NC 27883, or relocate there before starting
