CDL-B Local Truck Driver — Home Daily, $26.27/hr

Our company is looking for a Class B CDL driver in Charlotte, NC to run local routes between NC and SC, delivering HVAC equipment and home every day.

Pay

• $26.27 per hour, paid weekly

• Guaranteed 40 hours per week

• Paid training included

Schedule

• Monday through Friday

• Start time around 5:30 AM

• Local routes with home daily

What you'll haul

• Solo deliveries of HVAC equipment within NC and SC

• Touch freight, using a pallet jack and lift gate

• You'll drive a 26' straight truck, 36 months old or newer, with our company providing equipment training

• 24/7 roadside assistance and fueling available at over 800 maintenance locations nationwide

Requirements

• At least 21 years old

• Valid Class B CDL with required endorsements; Hazmat endorsement required

• Verifiable tractor-trailer or comparable vehicle experience: 9 months in the last 3 years, OR 2 years in the last 5 years, OR 5 years in the last 10 years

• Must pass a drug test, background check, motor vehicle record check, DOT physical, and our company road test

• Prior employer drug and alcohol verification covering the last 3 years

• Able to follow instructions and apply relevant laws, rules and procedures

Responsibilities

• Follow applicable federal and state regulations and safety standards

• Spot and address safety hazards

• Keep accurate logs and records

• Help load and unload freight when needed by the customer
