CDL-B Local Delivery Driver — $26.00/hr, Home Daily

Ryder is looking for a CDL-B driver in Aurora, CO to run regional routes in the surrounding area, delivering medical supplies and getting home every day.

Pay

• $26.00 per hour, paid weekly

• Paid training included

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 50+ hours per week

• Early AM dispatch

Route and freight

• Home daily, running regional and local routes in the surrounding area

• Straight truck equipment

• Hauling medical supplies, with hands-on loading and unloading required

• You'll use a pallet jack, stair walkers and forklifts on the job

• A TWIC card is preferred but not required; Ryder will reimburse the cost if you get one

Equipment

• Trucks are 36 months old or newer, backed by around-the-clock roadside maintenance and fueling at more than 800 locations nationwide

Requirements

• At least 21 years old

• Must pass a drug test, background check, motor vehicle check (including prior employer drug and alcohol verification for the last 3 years), DOT physical and road test

• Valid CDL with the endorsements the role requires

• Verifiable tractor-trailer or comparable experience: 9 months in the last 3 years, or 2 years in the last 5 years, or 5 years in the last 10 years

• Able to follow instructions and apply relevant laws, rules and procedures

• Some assignments may require added screening, such as employment and education checks or customer-specific badging

What you'll do

• Follow all applicable safety laws, rules and standards

• Spot and address safety hazards

• Keep accurate logs and records

• Load and unload freight when needed
