CDL-B Driver — Food Bank Deliveries, Cincinnati, OH

Drive for a food bank serving the Cincinnati, OH area, picking up donations and delivering food between donors, the warehouse, and partner agencies. You'll help cut down on food waste and get meals to people who need them, while keeping everything documented and compliant.

What you'll do

• Load, unload, and secure food items so quality and safety standards are met

• Fill out the paperwork for pickups, drop-offs, and receiving

• Follow DOT, Feeding America, USDA, and company rules on the road and at stops

• Represent the organization well with donors, agency partners, volunteers, and the public

• Flag damaged or non-compliant product to help reduce waste

• Check your vehicle each day and report any mechanical or safety issues right away

• Keep your assigned truck clean and in order

• Pitch in on mobile pantries, holiday distributions, and other special events as needed

• Coordinate with warehouse crews, logistics staff, and management to keep deliveries running smoothly

• Take on other food-distribution tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Valid Class B CDL with Air Brake endorsement

• Forklift experience, or willingness to get certified within your first 30 days

• Solid grasp of defensive driving, food safety, and DOT regulations

• Comfortable navigating varied local traffic conditions

• Able to run pre-trip safety and equipment checks before each route

• Basic math skills for handling delivery and inventory records

• High school diploma or GED

• Proven experience driving a Class B commercial vehicle

• Warehouse, logistics, food distribution, or route delivery background a plus

• Experience with forklifts, pallet jacks, or lift gates a plus

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs
