CDL-B City Driver — Home Daily, Weekends and Holidays Off

Our company, a leading LTL carrier in New England, needs a CDL-B City Driver in Boscawen, NH to handle local pickups and deliveries. You'll be home every day, with weekends and holidays off.

What you'll do

• Operate commercial vehicles safely, following traffic laws and company safety rules

• Pick up and deliver freight for local customers

• Complete driver logs, inspection reports and other paperwork needed for state and federal compliance

• Follow federal rules if hauling hazardous materials

• Treat customers professionally at every stop

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks, report mechanical problems, and keep your truck clean

Home time

• Home every day

• Weekends and holidays off

Requirements

• Valid CDL-B

• At least 1 year of commercial driving experience

• Clean MVR: no license suspension or revocation over 30 days in the last 36 months (failure-to-pay or failure-to-appear suspensions are okay if there was no conviction for driving while suspended); no serious traffic violation convictions or citations in the last 60 months; no pattern of more than 3 violations in 36 months; no more than 1 at-fault accident and 2 violations combined in 36 months, outside the limit above where applicable

• Must pass a DOT physical exam

• Must pass a pre-employment drug test with a negative result

• Negative controlled substance and alcohol history from employers over the past 3 years

• 10-year work history check; gaps of 30+ days must be explained

• Must pass a our company driving test

• Tanker and hazmat endorsements are a plus, not required up front, but must be earned within 90 days of starting
