CDL-B/A Flatbed Delivery Driver — Building Materials

River Bend Materials, Inc. in Chattanooga, TN is looking for a delivery driver to haul and deliver building materials to job sites using a flatbed or boom truck. You'll load and unload freight, work closely with customers, and help keep deliveries on schedule and damage-free.

What you'll haul

• Building materials delivered by flatbed or boom truck to both commercial and residential job sites

• You'll load and unload materials yourself and position loads using the boom when needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED

• Valid commercial driver's license; CDL-B is the minimum, CDL-A is strongly preferred

• Clean 3-year motor vehicle report

• Working knowledge of DOT rules

• Able to lift materials weighing up to 100+ lbs during loading and unloading

• Comfortable spending about 40% of your shift seated while driving, and the rest actively loading, unloading and positioning materials outdoors

• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude

• Able to judge distances accurately when operating the boom or maneuvering for deliveries
