CDL-A Yard Truck Driver — Home Daily, $25/hr

Our company needs a CDL-A yard driver in Lebanon, TN to shuttle trailers around a single yard location. You stay on site for your whole shift, so there's no highway driving, no customer stops and no freight handling.

What the job looks like

• You work in one spot the entire shift, moving trailers safely within the yard

• No highway miles, multi-stop runs or customer deliveries

• The work is repetitive and predictable, so you always know your routine

• Shifts and hours are steady and reliable

Pay

• Starting pay is $25 per hour for Class A drivers

• Time and a half kicks in after 40 hours a week

• Paid weekly, with benefit options available

• Refer someone who gets hired and stays, and you can earn up to $2,000

Home time

You're home every day on a steady schedule.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving history

• Willing to get a Tanker endorsement (Lazer reimburses the cost after you've been employed 90 days)

• Current DOT physical and medical card

• Solid grasp of trucking rules for both public roads and private lots like distribution centers

• Comfortable working long shifts in different weather

• Good communication skills for working with dispatch, customers and teammates

• Able to get in and out of the truck repeatedly through the shift

Day to day, you'll inspect your vehicle before driving, move trailers between locations on schedule, follow safety and regulatory rules, handle equipment correctly for customers, and keep accurate logs of your hours and any issues that come up.
