CDL-A Yard Truck Driver — $24.00/hr + $1 Shift Differential, Home Daily

Work as a yard truck driver for our company in Edwardsville, IL, shuttling trailers within a single yard location. You stay in one place for your whole shift, with no highway miles, no customer stops, and a predictable daily routine.

Pay

• $24.00 per hour, plus a $1 shift differential

• Overtime available after 40 hours

• Paid weekly

• Referral bonus of up to $2,000 for each hired and retained referral

Home time

You're home every day, working a steady, repeatable schedule in one yard.

What you'll haul

You'll reposition trailers around the yard and between dock doors, handling drop-and-hook moves. There's no freight handling, no customer deliveries, and no multi-stop routes - just controlled, on-site trailer movement.

Responsibilities

• Spot and move trailers between dock doors and yard locations

• Complete drop-and-hook transfers

• Do pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections

• Follow company safety rules and procedures

• Stay in contact with dispatch and yard staff

• Keep accurate records and logs

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL

• Current DOT medical card

• Clean driving history

• Prior tractor-trailer experience

• Comfortable working outdoors in any weather

• Able to get in and out of the cab repeatedly through the shift
