CDL-A Yard Jockey — $18/hr Plus $5,000 Sign-On Bonus

Our company needs a CDL-A yard jockey in the Riverville, VA area. This is a local, no-long-haul role with rotating shifts and a sign-on bonus for drivers who qualify.

Pay

• $5,000 sign-on bonus for those who start by September 18th, 2026

• Starting pay of $18.00 per hour, with overtime after 40 hours worked

• Typical weekly earnings between $950 and $1,050

• Extra pay for night shifts

• Pay increases are guaranteed over time, and you can boost your earnings further by picking up a weekend or sixth shift

Schedule

• Shifts average 12 hours

• Rotating pattern of four days on during the long week and three days on during the short week

What you'll haul

• Experience with dry van, reefer, container, flatbed, and/or tanker freight applies to this yard jockey role

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL

• At least nine months of verifiable Class A driving experience within the past three years

• Background in dry van, reefer, container, flatbed, and/or tanker hauling

• Clean driving history
